Registration Tips

 

What information do I need to register at MyColonialPenn.com?

If you own a life insurance policy through the Colonial Penn® Program, you will be able to register.   

In addition to your name, address and phone, you will need:

  • Your policy number (if you have multiple policies, you will only need one) 
  • The date of birth of the person insured under the policy
  • A valid email address

Once I register, what information about my policy will be available?

You will be able to see a list of all of your policies, with the following information for each policy:

  • Coverage amount
  • Premium paid-to date
  • Cash value
  • Loan information

When can I view my account information?

Except during the 10:30  to 11:00 pm (ET) timeframe, your policy information can be viewed anytime.

Please note, due to system maintenance, your account may occasionally be temporarily unavailable, and you will see a message asking you to login at a later time.

Initial registration is not available between 10:30 pm and 11:30 pm (ET).

Please note that you can pay your bill online at anytime - just click Pay My Bill.

How can I better understand your terminology - do you have definitions?

Whenever you see the  symbol, you can move your mouse over the symbol, and a definition will appear.  If you still have questions, please call us.

My records do not match what I am seeing for my policy information - what should I do?

If a policy or information is not displayed, or you have questions about the information, please call us toll free at 1-800-523-9100. NY residents, call 1-800-323-4542.  Our Call Center hours are 8:30 am to 5:30 pm (ET), Monday-Friday.  Or you can Email Us. Please note that recent changes to your account may take up to 3 business days to display.

I am looking at my account, but I do not see the name of the beneficiary for my policy. Where can I find this information?

For your added security we do not display beneficiary names online.  For information on your beneficiary, please call us or email us.  Our toll-free number is 1-800-523-9100.  NY residents, please call 1-800-323-4542.  To change your beneficiary you can download a form and mail it to us.

If the owner of the policy is a Trust or a Corporation is it possible to register?

Registration is not available at this time if the owner of the policy is a Trust or a Corporation.

I have a Medicare Supplement policy with Colonial Penn – can I register?

Registration is not available for Medicare Supplement, health, or Accidental Death insurance policies at this time. If you register, only your life insurance policy information will be displayed.

If you have a Medicare Supplement policy that was issued in 2010 or later, please call 1-800-800-2254 for customer service for your policy. For policies issued prior to 2010, please call us at the number shown at the top of this page.

I have a Colonial Penn Life Insurance policy and a Bankers Conseco Life Insurance policy – can I still register?

Yes. Policies issued in the state of New York are underwritten by Bankers Conseco Life Insurance Company, and in all other states they are issued by Colonial Penn Life. If you lived in New York when you purchased one policy, and a different state when you purchased another policy, you will need to register twice (using one policy from each company for each registration), and have two separate logins to view information for all of your policies.
